The Raven
The Raven is a 2D animation centred around a poem I wrote, all about a mysterious creature that collects the souls of those left behind in war. Fully conceptualised and illustrated, with the first few scenes realised.

The sky is red with the blood of dawn,
Grey clouds cascading in
I fly with death under my wings,
Eyes of ink and grievous sin
Their memory rots in my dreaded wake,
Prayers smothered in morning dew
The heart’s echo is silent now
The shadows a daunting shade of blue
My knife like claws grip their souls,
Unwanted and lost
I will follow my roll of death’s courier:
The Raven, at all costs.
