The House of Mordrin

For this project, I set out to create a 3D Game Cinematic based on my own developing high fantasy novel. The project features my original character Thalilya as she explores a recently abandoned elven village in search of a mysterious necromancer.

I evolved my own 2D character design, creating and detailing the 3D character model in Zbrush and Substance Painter. I then recorded, applied and edited my own motion capture data to the character, before combining these elements with my own designed and built 3D environment in Maya. I also created a 2D animatic for this project, along with storyboards and concept art!
